This is a game-ready 3D fanart of the iconic Hunter Pistol from Bloodborne. The low poly mesh was modeled in Maya, while the high poly version was created using both Maya and ZBrush. ZBrush was particularly useful for sculpting finer details, such as the worn leather or cloth-like bands wrapped around the grip.

Texturing was done in Substance Painter, where I used opacity maps to simulate leather fraying and wear, achieved entirely through cards to keep the asset optimized for real-time rendering. Materials were carefully crafted -with a mix of procedural and hand-painted- to emphasize the contrasting surfaces of aged wood and weathered metal.

The piece was rendered both in Marmoset Toolbag and Unreal Engine, allowing me to showcase the material definition and lighting on different platforms. Special attention was given to how the wood grain, metal reflections, and leather details interact under various lighting conditions.
